Pretty much every site will get white-washed with news from Blizzcon once it starts. Here is some other news til then! The calendar of events has been updated to include a ‘preview’ opening session; it’d be either Icecrown Citadel raid or rumoured Cataclysm expansion. WoR also have a floor map which gives you some context of event’s scale.

Faction Changes Coming to World of Warcraft

Nethaera just dropped a bomb shell on the official forums with the announcement that a faction changing service is in the works and soon be available. Nethaera We wanted to give everyone a very early heads-up that, in response to player requests, we’re developing a new service for World of Warcraft that will allow players to change their faction from Alliance to Horde or Horde to Alliance

BlizzCon Pet is a Grunty Murloc

Earlier today MMOC showed a new in-game pet datamined from the new PTR game files and speculated that it might be the BlizzCon present for attending. Tonight Blizzard confirmed those rumors announcing that the pet would be given to those attending as well as those buying the DirectTV package
